Scout Fair is awesome and incredibly fun. It starts by setting up the booth for your unit. Everyone helps out.
Then you take your turn to go around and see what all the other booths are doing, like this one helped you learn some origami.
Most of the kids made the balloon you could blow up into a cube.
This mom volunteer was having way too much fun.
Grandpa helped Avery finagle her way through the ropes.
This scouter put a few decorations on his car.
The patch display caught our eye.
Avery wasn't sure about this the first time she crossed the bridge but it was so much fun she went again.
Avery and Sadie did really well tossing those whatchamacallits.
But Eliora and the scout really had the form.
The fancy new waterbottle because I lost my other one :-(
Duct tape is good for all kinds of things, like keeping alligators mouths closed so brave little girls can hold them.
Abbie was not afraid, more like real cautious.
Avery wanted to take this one home for a pet. Abbie threw caution to the wind.
We're waiting for the nightsky show to begin. We had to wait in line foreveeer but the show was worth the wait!
For handholding this extended exposure, didn't turn out too bad. This was a shot of the moon and stars that we saw inside the dome.
Some more of the wildlife we saw at Scout Fair.
Another shot of wildlife, like real pirates.
Hmmm, do I want to be a pirate.....?
Everybody was doing it!!! The year of the pirates!
Captain Sparrow's girlfriend.
Captain Sparrow's girfriend's brother's pregnant and very tired wife.
Some very excellent Scouters, like Roberta and Craig on the right.
This is what I get when I ask someone to hold my camera for a minute.
Abbie was worn out at the scout fair. We couldn't wake her up.
So we were going to eat supper without her, but she finally woke up before the last french fry was gone.
Would you go to Scout Fair again?

I love the Scout Fair!!! I would go again!!! I love the alligator pictures, those are awesome and Avery looks good in your hat. Lol, the old Davis trick of taking a self portrait when asked to hold someone's camera!!! Love it!
Those are the best hats ever and Avery was absolutely going to melt if she didn't have a hat. It was so hot that afternoon. It wiped Tonia out, too. Can you tell it in the pictures? But not Eliora or Audrey, they could have still climbed mountains.
Avery would go again. It was the best day of her life!
Look at your blogging spree, can't wait to see Ireland pictures.
The Irish pictures are coming soon to a screen near you...like the middle of July. Have to catch up on the blogging, of course. I speak Irish now, I say "wee" in all my sentences.
