Later it was the serious game of Egyptian Rat Poker.


The reindeer inside the house was dressed for the occasion.


All the children went outside to leave reindeer food for Santa's reindeer since they were going to have to work hard all night. Then they left milk and cookies on the fireplace for Santa, ran upstairs and jumped in bed. As they were settling down what did they see out the window? A deer had come to eat the food they had set out! Actually, several deer came and went. It was too exciting to go to sleep but fortunately, Anna, had brought a "potion" that would help them get to sleep right away.
