A few of the wild animals we saw up North

Anna and the usual "equipment" she brings along on her photo trips.

Out in the wild...

One of the foxes we saw the first night here.

Foxes bury their food, at least, we saw this one do it.

Coyote, the next night we saw three of them playing a game of tag.

Deer.

Herds of elk.

Lots of lone bison and then some herds. Anna is determined to have the best shot.

Herd in Lamar Valley.

A lone bison.

The first grizzly bear we saw, on the first day in the park.

The black grizzly we saw on our last day in the park. The rangers suspect he killed the 15-year grizzly sow. Perhaps she was protecting her cubs but they haven't found any cubs yet.

And last but not least, a roadkill porcupine. These were the larger wild animals we saw while in Yellowstone National Park.
