Just what is this and how did it die?
Post your answers and let's see who can guess it first. Ok, Tonia and Tyler, you guys don't count (well, yeah, you can count BUT don't tell anyone! See if someone can figure it out)
Avery is the winner saying he was incinerated. Actually, he was caught in my oven and baked to death, turning a nice blackish color. YEAH, AVERY!

You won for guessing what kind of critter it is, a wood roach. Nope, no one stepped on it. The demise will be harder to guess.
Thanks, Anna, I really like the picture of Emma ready to catch the ball and my camera is so slow that the ball looks like a golden arc on the upper left hand corner.
Here are some more guesses on how he died:
Paige: old age
Emma: frozen
Paige: smashed on a window
Emma: sucked up by a vacuum cleaner
Paige: when he woke up he died
Emma: poisoned
Paige: bug spray
Emma: rat or bug poison
Paige: he got shot
Emma: he got stabbed
Avery: he got old?
Avery: because he got stepped on
Paige: where he lived had fire
Emma: you set him on fire
Paige: he drowned
Avery: someone threw a fireball at his head
Emma: there was a small fire and he got into it and incinerated
Avery: he got chopped by a knife, see the red spot
Katie: he saw someone and had a heart attack
Emma: he got poked in the stomach
Emma: someone took his picture and he died
Avery: he got incinerated
Emma: the roach died by fire
So far, Emma, Paige and Avery had come the closest but they didn't hit the nail on the head. But almost.
Paige: What? the nail hit him?
He was in side the fencing material (see picture below) and he died.

Avery is actually the closest to how this fella died. He wasn't incinerated but he was......

He was baked to death.
Avery came the closest suggesting he was incinerated. He didn't burn up so he wasn't incinerated. This little fellow had climbed into my oven when the door was open and was stuck in there when I turned it on.
